Belfast has a thriving web community, but unfortunately there are very few Ruby devs out there, despite the massive demand. We aim to change that, starting this month, by launching Belfast Ruby - A community of aspiring & experienced developers in Belfast, N.Ireland passionate about Ruby and Rails.

We're planning regular meet ups, talks and hackathons, the first of which will be on Tuesday 31st January, here at The Rumble Laboratory.

We're on The Twitter, created a Google Group and a presence on Github for our open source contributions, and will likely be hanging out on ##BelfastRuby IRC channel.
