I've been lucky enough to be taken on as a Design Intern and for the next six months will be honing my skills in all aspects of design as well as getting to grips with some Ruby.

I recently completed the final year of a degree in Interactive Multimedia Design at University of Ulster, achieving a first class honours and released Catch the Worm, designed and built as part of my final year major project.

With so many talented designers in training applying for the position, I set about designing a website that would hopefully set me apart from other applicants. The result was 'Ready to Rumble' a boxing themed mini-site that paid homage to old boxing posters, games and films (oh and Charlie Sheen, whatever happened to him?).

When I'm not pixel pushing, I can be found swinging swords about, playing guitar and trying to sing. I tweet somewhat sporadically as @willmcneilly.
